What is the benefit of early treatment for my child? With early treatment, your child will benefit by reducing crowding severity and may possibly avoid the necessity of teeth extraction prior to orthodontic treatment down the line.
TREATMENT FOR TEENS
Can we wait until my teen’s adult teeth have all come out? Early evaluation is recommended first.
My teen has crooked teeth. Do they need extraction? After evaluation, if it is not necessary, we do not extract teeth prior to orthodontic treatment.
What kind of treatment options does my teen have? Depending on your child’s need and wants, we offer state of the art braces to lingual braces. Also, if appropriate for the patient, your teen can benefit from translucent aligners.
TREATMENT FOR ADULTS
I want to fix crowding unnoticeably. Any recommendations? We introduce to you lingual braces! Brackets are placed behind the teeth, hidden from view. Also, we offer translucent aligner as an option as well!
How often should I visit your office? If coming for orthodontic treatment, you should come in about once a month. We are proud to offer our patients Damon braces, which enables patients to come in for fewer visits. Please refer to "Our Orthodontic Services" section for more information about Damon Braces.
Is orthodontic treatment still possible as an adult? If your gum and bones are healthy, yes, you would be a good candidate for orthodontic treatment. Also, you can benefit from our braces selections since our brackets (ie. Damon brackets) cause less friction and is generous to the bone.
